MISSA launches new Workers’ Compensation website

MISSA (the Administrator of the RMI Workers’ Compensation Program) is pleased to officially announce the launch of the Workers’ Compensation website! The new site is now available online through this link: www.rmiworkcomp.org.

The Administration’s goal with this new website is to provide the program’s stakeholders: workers and dependents of deceased workers, private employers, the RMI Government (as an employer), insurance carriers and medical providers with an easier way to learn about their roles in the program and also to allow visitors to browse information based on their own choice. The new website is interactive and gives better access to About Us, Programs, Benefits, Forms, Frequently Asked Questions, Legislations, References and related web pages. A part of the Homepage highlights the instructions on what the stakeholders should do to complete a certain process, like filing a claim, contesting a denied claim, applying for exemption from the program, authorizing medical examination and treatment, and so on.

As this website is still new, please bear with us if some of the information that you are looking for is not available yet. We will be constantly updating our content with helpful information, articles, new procedures, announcements, and reminders in the News section.

We hope you find the new website easy to access information and we also wish to establish this portal as a source of information for those who want to know more about the Workers’ Compensation Program of the Marshall Islands.

For those who are now ready to enroll their employees to the program, you may visit the offices of our two local insurance agencies, Moylan’s Insurance Underwriters (Marshalls), Inc. and Marshall Insurance Agency. However, it is important to note that the reduction in the present tariff rates that have been recommended by the actuary who performed the actuarial study of the program, are still under review and subject to the approval of the Workers’ Compensation Board (whose members are the same as the MISSA Board).
